Timothy Yi was born and raised in Orange County, California. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Riverside, in 2019. While at UCR, Timothy participated on a humanitarian trip to Cambodia, where he counseled victims of human trafficking. This experience solidified his decision to become an attorney.
Timothy went on to attend the University of San Diego, School of Law and graduated in 2023, with a concentration in Employment and Labor Law. While at USD, Timothy clerked at a boutique tax controversy firm that represents individuals and corporations.
Timothy started at Andrews & Thornton in 2022 and has spent most of his time involved with the firm’s childhood sex abuse claims against various institutions throughout the nation. He has also dedicated his efforts towards the firm’s litigation against the Boy Scouts of America, a youth-centered organization that faced 82,000 individual claims of childhood sexual abuse.
Timothy enjoys spending time with his fiancée and family, and loves English Cream Miniature Dachshunds.
