Ryan M. McIntosh was born and raised in Walnut Creek, CA. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Azusa Pacific University in 2015.
Ryan briefly worked under a criminal trial attorney after graduating college. The experience of working in the law firm solidified his decision to become an attorney. Ryan earned his Juris Doctor in 2019, graduating Cum Laude from Western State College of Law.
While at Western State, Ryan clerked four semesters with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, including working in the Homicide Unit. Ryan also worked as a Judicial Extern under the Honorable Judge Geoffrey Glass in the Civil Unlimited Division of the Superior Court of Orange County. During his time in law school, Ryan earned four course honors: two CALI Excellence Awards (highest performance in a class) and two Witkin Awards (highest performance in a class).
Ryan started at Andrews and Thornton in 2020. He has been active in litigations against the Boy Scouts of America, a youth-centered organization that faced 82,000 individual claims of childhood sexual abuse. Ryan has also worked on bringing claims of childhood sexual abuse against various institutions throughout the nation. He has spent nearly three years managing the filing and development of the firm’s Boy Scouts cases and has been indispensable in the voting campaign and mediations for a bankruptcy plan which calls for nearly $3 billion for victims of abuse.
Ryan is married and enjoys golfing, spending time with family, and rooting for the Boston Red Sox.
