Rob Siko was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Southern California in 2010 and 2011. During his time at USC, Rob was on the Dean’s list for 6 consecutive semesters. He graduated Cum Laude and qualified for the Psychology Honors Program.
Rob worked briefly as a trial consulting associate in Los Angeles. The experience of working with teams of trial attorneys convinced him to become an attorney himself. Rob graduated Cum Laude from University of California, Irvine School of Law in 2016. He was a quarterfinalist in the 2016 Moot Court competition and served as Co-Chair of the Space Law Society. During his time at UCI, Rob earned five course honors: two Faculty Awards (highest performance in a class) and three Dean’s Awards (second highest performance in a class).
Rob started at Andrews and Thornton in 2016. He has been active in litigations against the makers of the fertility drug Bravelle, WEN by Chaz Dean, a hair care product which has received over 21,000 consumer complaints for hair loss and allergic symptoms. Rob also worked extensively on the Genki Sushi Hepatitis A outbreak which affected hundreds of residents of Hawaii. He has also worked on the USPLabs Dietary Supplement cases (JCCP 4808), seeking justice for Plaintiffs who suffered severe liver and cardiovascular injuries after taking OxyElite Pro.
More recently, Rob has helped manage the firms’ tens of thousands of cases in the bankruptcies of opioid manufacturers Insys, Purdue, and Mallinckrodt. He spearheaded efforts to create new processes for transferring case details into useable forms for bankruptcy proof of claim filings and claim submissions, allowing Andrews & Thornton to file more proofs of claims on behalf of individual victims than ever before, opening access to justice for these victims. He is now heavily engaged in litigation on behalf of the PG&E Fire Victim Trust.
Rob is married to his law school sweetheart and has two dogs. He enjoys reading, baking, and is a USC football fanatic.
