Erik C. Fritz was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating with High Honors.

After college, Erik took his talents to South Beach, graduating from the University of Miami (Florida) School of Law cum laude. Erik made the Dean’s List and served on the University of Miami International and Comparative Law Review.

Following law school, Erik began his legal career as a bankruptcy attorney, and spent over a decade litigating a variety of matters in state and federal courts throughout Florida, including plaintiffs’ personal injury and complex commercial litigation.

After relocating to California with his family, Erik began working at Andrews & Thornton in 2020.

Among other matters, Erik is involved with the firm’s childhood sex abuse cases, fighting for justice for our clients against large institutions that enabled and often covered up childhood sex abuse.

Erik is married with three young children. He enjoys reading and spending time with family.
