On August 30, 2013, the FDA issued a safety alert regarding the voluntary recall of four flavored sauces manufactured by Premier Foods, LLC and sold at Williams-Sonoma. Based out of Santa Fe Springs, California, Premier Foods failed to declare the following allergens on the affected product labels: milk, soy, and/or wheat. People with milk, soy, or wheat allergies run the risk of serious or life-threatening reactions upon consumption of products containing these ingredients.
The following products have been recalled:

- Unit size: 12 – 1 lb. 8.5 oz. retail units/case
- Undeclared allergens: milk, soy, wheat
- 40-Clove Garlic Chicken Braising Base
- Unit size: 12 – 24.5 oz. retails units/case
- Undeclared allergens: milk, wheat
- Tagine Sauce
- Unit size: 12 – 16 fl. oz. retail units/case
- Undeclared allergens: milk, wheat
- Artichoke Pecorino Sauce
- Unit size: 12 – 16 fl. oz. retail units/case
- Undeclared allergen: soy
